Website, downloads and product access

Current website

The current public website does not require a website account for browsing or downloading the CloudCutter Trial archive.

Product distribution modes

• Trial: download before registration; registration is mandatory at first launch.
• Commercial: supplied only by direct request after a contract is signed; a valid license is mandatory.
• Free Direct: immediate download without registration.
• Free Registered: download after email verification or registration at first launch.
• Coming Soon: no download; only an optional future notification.

CloudCutter Trial download statistics

When the CloudCutter archive is requested, the distribution service may record:

• product and release identifier;
• request time, result, HTTP status and response size;
• country code supplied by Cloudflare;
• referring hostname and CF-Ray identifier;
• salted hashes of the IP address and User-Agent, when the security salt is available.

Raw IP addresses and raw User-Agent strings are not stored in the download-events table. A recorded event means that the server issued the file response; it does not prove that the browser retained the complete file.

Flange Generator direct download and anonymous product events

The VoxelStudio Flange Generator is a Free Direct product. No account, email address or verification cookie is required to download it.

To understand whether the page and article are useful, VoxelStudio may record first-party events such as page view, article view, video start or completion, download-button click, completed server delivery and optional-subscription start or completion. These event records may include the product identifier, page path, session-scoped random identifier, limited campaign parameters, referring hostname, request time, country code supplied by Cloudflare and delivered byte count where applicable.

The random event identifier is stored only for the current browser session. Anonymous product-event records do not contain a name, email address, full IP address, full referring URL, raw User-Agent string, fingerprint or advertising identifier. A completed-delivery event means that the server streamed the full workbook response; it does not prove that the visitor retained, opened or used the file.

Anonymous product-interest buttons

Future-product pages may include an “I’m interested” button. Pressing it records the product identifier, page path, request time and country code supplied by Cloudflare. It does not create an account, register an email address, subscribe the visitor to messages or trigger direct contact. These counts are general interest signals and are not treated as verified unique-user statistics.

Contact form

The contact form processes the name, email address, optional company or organization, message text, page path, request time and country code supplied by Cloudflare. These details are used to review and reply to the message, prevent repeated automated submissions and maintain necessary business correspondence. The form does not create an account or subscribe the sender to marketing messages. Raw IP addresses and raw User-Agent strings are not stored in the contact-messages table.

Trial activation

CloudCutter Trial activation is completed inside the application. The licensing service processes the verified email domain, organization, device seat, device session and Trial status for activation and security purposes.

Free Registered downloads

Free Registered products require verification of a valid email address before the protected file can be downloaded. There are no restrictions on public, company, academic or other valid email domains.

For this workflow, VoxelStudio processes the email address, verification and consent timestamps, requested product, country code supplied by Cloudflare, and salted hashes of the IP address and User-Agent when the security salt is available. The hashes and request counts are used to limit automated abuse; raw IP addresses and raw User-Agent strings are not stored in the Free Registered tables.

Verification links expire after 30 minutes and are single-use. Successful verification creates an essential, HttpOnly browser session cookie that expires after seven days. It is used only to authorize protected downloads and is not an advertising or analytics cookie.

Product announcements and updates

Consent to occasional VoxelStudio product announcements and updates is optional, separate from every download and not preselected. The Flange Generator subscription form appears only after a direct download starts. Refusing consent never prevents access to a Free Direct or Free Registered product.

If a visitor actively subscribes, VoxelStudio stores the email address, source product, consent version and time, status, and country code supplied by Cloudflare. The email address is stored in the subscription record and is not copied into anonymous product-event records.

Retention and your choices

Expired verification-token records and download sessions are periodically removed. A verified registration record or active subscription record is retained while the relevant service remains active, or until a valid deletion or withdrawal request is completed. Security, download and anonymous product-event records may be retained as reasonably necessary to protect the service and understand aggregate distribution.

You may withdraw product-message consent or request access, correction or deletion of your registration or subscription data by writing to [email protected]. Withdrawal does not affect processing already completed before the request.

Security

Do not send email verification codes, encrypted device-session cache files, confidential point clouds or private company data through an untrusted channel.

Changes

This notice may be updated as new products, registration functions and communication preferences are added to the platform.
