CloudCutter v1.0 beta allowed a large E57 source to be divided into multiple smaller E57 outputs while preserving the requested point attributes and supported structured-scan information.
The key change was operational: users could define several selections and create organized outputs without manually repeating the complete preparation workflow for every area.
The application was designed for bounded memory use on an ordinary office workstation or laptop. Practical output count still depends on available storage, file structure, selected regions, and system resources; "multiple outputs" is therefore more accurate than an absolute claim of unlimited output.
This beta marked the transition from technical proof to public testing. Later versions expanded the same architecture to XYZ ASCII, LAS, LAZ, multi-file processing, integrated 3D visualization, and more detailed benchmark reporting.
